Cele peste 200 de poze facute m-au fortat sa creez o pagina dedicata pentru acest proiect. Toate imaginile plus cateva idei si concluzii pot fi vazute la www.tudorprisacariu.com/work/3m2/. Dupa ce va uitati acolo va rog sa reveniti aici si sa scrieti gandurile, opiniile si criticile voastre aici. Sunt foarte interesat sa aud orice aveti de spus in privinta acetui proiect si a problemelor pe care le ridica.

De Vineri pana Duminica (1-3 Iunie) aduc iarba verde pe Strada Arthur Verona (intre Carturesti si Cinema Patria) in cadrul proiectului Street Delivery (link). Va astept cu mic, cu mare :)

Contructia proiectului va incepe vineri dimineata si va continua pe tot parcursul zilei.

Incalzirea globala este unul dintre cele mai discutate subiecte ale momentului, atat in comunitatea stiintifica cat si in mass-media. Studiile, stirile si filmele care trateaza aceasta problema ne bombardeaza cu nenumarate statistici din ce in ce mai alarmante care prezinta o deterioarare rapida a planetei. Dupa o lunga perioada de ignoranta, cei mai multi membri ai comunitatii internationale recunosc ca problemele cu care ne confruntam nu afecteaza doar anumite tari sau regiuni, ci intreaga planeta.

Desi dimensiunile lui sunt foarte mici, acest spatiu este la fel de mult al tau cum este al meu sau al oricarui alt Bucurestean. E suficient de mare incat sa poti sta intins pe el, dar mai ales e suficient de mic incat sa poti avea grija de el si sa-l poti ajuta sa creasca. Cu cat tu vei intelege mai repede ca rolul tau e la fel de important sau chiar mai important decat cel al autoritatilor, cu atat spatiile (inca) verzi din Bucuresti vor mai avea o sansa.

As they reach the entrance of a small private parking lot, viewers observe a trail of blood and Christmas tree needles running across the parking lot. As they follow the trail, they reach a recycling skip. The skip is also heavily stained on its side. The lid is closed.

The viewer is faced with having to take a decision: either she/he will explore the scene further and look inside the skip or just turn her/his back and leave. Inside the skip, the sight of a cut down Christmas tree put in plastic bags will unfold. Guilt, curiosity or indifference will dictate whether the viewer will choose to take further action or not.

Every year, 13 to 15 million hectares of forests are cut down, which accounts for around 4 billion trees. Rainforest are the most affected by the process of mass deforestation, with countries from all over the world being in danger of losing most of their rainforests in the next 20 years.

Rainforests generate a large amount of the world’s oxygen. The amount of precipitations that fall in these areas also regulates rainfall and water levels from all over the world. Destroying rainforests can and does cause climate change. Thus, deforestation doesn’t only affect local ecosystems, but the entire biosphere.

Deforestation cannot be attributed to a single individual or company. There is a long chain of offenders starting with the logger and ending with individual that uses one too many sheets of paper. It is a collective process that requires individual action in order to be stopped or at least slowed down.
